One of the most iconic pieces in Troika Pottery and a favourite of mine......the Troika Mask! These were produced at the Newlyn pottery from the early 70's in varying designs but due to easily toppling over were not that popular with the buying public. Measurements: 25cm x 19 cm x 5.5cm

This early large troika terracotta plate / charger was thrown by Benny Sirota probably within the first year of the pottery opening. It has strong blue/turquoise & black glazes with a stylised leaf design which also adorn many of the various plates the pottery produced. When I purchased this from the seller he told me that he knew of only one other in ‘red clay’ and that one had been damaged. I cannot substantiate this but in all my years of collecting Troika pottery I have never seen another plate/charger produced in this larger size and in ‘terracotta’. It has very early 'scratched' Troika St Ives mark with separate impressed troika trident mark. Diameter 29.3 cm

This lovely black clay piece was owned by Harry Lyons who as most Troika collectors know, staged a Troika Pottery exhibition in May 1994 in London. I purchased it from someone who was friends with Harry and have an accompanying letter verifying how they acquired it etc. 12 cm x 12 cm x 4.5 cm

This love plaque was a very, very expensive purchase for me but I've always consoled myself in the knowledge that it was personally owned and decorated by Benny Sirota who gifted it to his mother. An added highlight for me when I obtained this plaque was meeting Benny and his wife at their home in Wells Somerset. I'll always remember having a cup of tea with them and Benny telling me how amazed he was that Troika Pottery had again 'taken off' in the way that it had and along with that, the incredible prices that it was now achieving. I think it's fair to say that I didn't help regarding those prices when I purchased the Love Plaque......!
