This love plaque was a very, very expensive purchase for me but I’ve always consoled myself in the knowledge that it was personally owned and decorated by Benny Sirota who gifted it to his mother.
An added highlight for me when I obtained this plaque was meeting Benny and his wife at their home in Wells Somerset.
I’ll always remember having a cup of tea with them and Benny telling me how amazed he was that Troika Pottery had again ‘taken off’ in the way that it had and along with that, the incredible prices that it was now achieving.
I think it’s fair to say that I didn’t help regarding those prices when I purchased the Love Plaque……!
