Here's a lovely Troika pottery marmalade jar in deep, bold, colours of mainly blues, and a bit of green and orange. The piece has a textured, glazed surface which is typical with Troika marmalade jars. The jar is decorated by M. Murell circa 1974-1975.

When it comes to Troika pottery, Decorators' marks are quite important to determine whether a piece is genuine or not. However, not all Troika pieces are signed just like this genuine unsigned Troika cylinder vase. When you see and hold a Troika piece in person, you just know the difference between genuine and fake! This medium open-top cylinder vase measures 19 cm tall. The piece has a nice symmetrical pattern all round. It has a textured outer surface while the inner surface is white, smooth and glazed.

This 16cm Troika Wheel Vase is decorated by Alison Bridgen. The piece has the usual calculator type design with an impressed ark in front and the circles and stick design at the back. There are various versions of this design by other Troika pottery decorators.
