A beautiful small wheel vase decorated by Avril Bennet measuring 11.5 centimetres in excellent condition with no damage or cracks. This piece has a nice almost robot like design with double six dominoes on its chest. The wheel vase has crisp colours; blue, outmeal, cream, and orange/brown. The other face of the vase has multi-shapes design. -

I bought this about 30+ years ago only because I thought it was unusual and loved the blue colours. I am not a collector and therefore knew nothing of the piece or even of Troika Pottery, until a few years ago when I happened to see a picture of a similar piece in a book. My piece has been in storage for the most part of my ownership. It is undamaged. The designer is Avril Bennet. The grey side has what I'd describe as a globe on a stand and a "Play button" arrow on the top right corner. I've tried pressing the play button but the globe does not spin. ;-) -

This Unique vase being the only one seen to date in "White" all over, is decorated on all 4 sides with the Scarab design. With a early impressed Trident Mark, this vase is dated in the years 1963-1965. The decorated at that time were Leslie Illsley, Benny Sirota or Kristen Roth Love this piece.
