I bought this about 30+ years ago only because I thought it was unusual and loved the blue colours. I am not a collector and therefore knew nothing of the piece or even of Troika Pottery, until a few years ago when I happened to see a picture of a similar piece in a book. My piece has been in storage for the most part of my ownership. It is undamaged. The designer is
Avril Bennet. The grey side has what I'd describe as a globe on a stand and a "Play button" arrow on the top right corner. I've tried pressing the play button but the globe does not spin. ;-)
