Story of Troika Yellow Pieces

It was always understood and believed that they were only 5 Troika Yellow Pieces.

Having found 6 yellow coloured pieces and not 5 as originally thought.

2 yellow Floating Column Vases by Alison Brigden

2 yellow Double Egg Cups 1 by Alison Brigden and 1 by Jane Fitzgerald

We have made an educated guess as to how the story has developed

Leslie Illsley order a small amount of yellow paint to try it. He initially picked 4 unique vases to colour yellow.

So Alison Brigden who was one of two of his best decorator at the time was chosen to decorate 2 of the 4 unique vases yellow.

Leslie decorated 2 Floating Cone Vase yellow while Allison decorated 2 Floating column vases yellow.

However, there was a bit of yellow paint left over so Allison decided to decorate a Double Egg Cup yellow.

Jane Fitzgerald being the other best decorator and not wanting to be left out decided to use the last of the yellow paint to paint a 2nd Double Egg Cup yellow.

Artist’s monograms on each vases reflects this is why we have 6 yellow coloured vases and not 5.
