Description

This 15 piece coffee set is a fine example of an early Troika complete coffee set. The whole set is glazed in a lovely blue and green tin glaze, with incised highlights in black over smooth and textured surfaces. The pot base has Troika St Ives painted on along with a painted Trident symbol and what I think is Leslie Ilsley’s monogram in blue paint/glaze. A number of the saucers also have the impressed Troika St Ives and impressed Trident mark – so mid 1960s. One piece has a stamped Troika St Ives mark. The set is in perfect condition with no defects or sign of restoration.
