Iconic Anvil Vase finished in an oatmeal coloured textured glaze with designs to both faces in relief. Decorated by Anne Lewis using pale blue-green and brown paint. The sides are textured and the inside a smooth white glaze finish.

Description
This vase was acquired at public auction and is predominantly an oatmeal colour with a textured finish and designs to two sides in relief. These have been decorated by Anne Lewis in a lovely pale blue green and brown colours. One face has an anvil shape in relief and a Brancusi inspired ladder effect, whilst the other has geometric designs that are in relief and incised. The internal vase has a smooth white glaze finish. Condition grade 10/10 with no chips, cracks or signs of restoration. The Anvil shape is so iconic in terms of the Troika name.
