An unusual and small Troika Wheel Vase, believed by the private vendor/collector to be an early prototype of the iconic Wheel Vase. Just 9.5cm diameter and with an unusual, elongated ovoidal top opening, this is heavily textured on both faces, with one face displaying a distinctive offset circle – a pale blue green on a brown, green and blue glazed face. In super condition, free from any signs of cracks, chips or restoration. The early Troika St Ives stamp to the base (faded).
